Origin
Animal Face is Face Off OG crossed with Animal Mints, bred by Seed Junky Genetics, the team behind Wedding Cake and Kush Mints. Face Off OG brings the diesel and the OG weight; Animal Mints brings the nutty, minty sweetness and much of the resin. It has no descendants on file. The Seed Junky pedigree is the main reason it commands attention.

About
Animal Face is billed as a sativa and plays like a heavy indica.
Seed Junky Genetics crossed Face Off OG with Animal Mints for it. It tests high, near 24 percent on the lab sample, and the effect is mind-and-body numbing rather than energetic. The nose is nutty pine and diesel.
Sativa on paper, sedative in practice.
What to Expect
Animal Face does not match its 80 percent sativa billing. The reviewer record is thin. What is there leads with a thoughtful, buzzy euphoria, but the weighted data puts a sedated quality very high. Sources describe a mind-and-body-numbing high, not a cerebral one.
The logged negatives are sleepiness and a sedated quality, both consistent with that read. With a lab sample near 24 percent and a heavy effect, a small first dose is the sensible call.
Flavor and Aroma
Animal Face smells sweet and nutty with pine and a diesel note over earth. The flavor keeps the nutty pine with the sweetness. The diesel comes from the Face Off OG side.
Terpenes Explained
Animal Face's measured panel is led by Caryophyllene, which runs wide from about 0.4 to nearly 1 percent, with Linalool notably high and Myrcene and Limonene behind.
The high Linalool and Caryophyllene together read peppery and floral, not the bright citrus an 80 percent sativa would suggest, another sign the label does not describe this plant well. A jar with a genuine nutty-pine depth is the well-grown one.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Animal Face THC is reported from about 18 to 27 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data near 24. It tests genuinely high. CBD is a trace.
Animal Face tests in the mid twenties, so between the number and the sedating effect, treat it as a strong evening strain despite the sativa label.
