Origin
Bio Diesel is Sour Diesel crossed with Sensi Star, from Denver Relief Farms in Colorado. Sour Diesel carries the fuel nose and the cerebral opening. Sensi Star brings the pepper, the resin and the sedating body; it is a heavy, award-winning indica in its own right. It is the Sensi Star half that separates Bio Diesel from the many other Sour Diesel crosses.

The difficulty to grow Bio Diesel is known for being average. For growers cultivating indoors, expect average height with a moderate yield with in about 8–10 wk. Outdoors, harvest around October.
Cultivation Notes
Bio Diesel flowers slowly, in about nine to twelve weeks, and finishes outdoors in October. Height, yield and difficulty are not recorded in our data. Its Sensi Star parentage points to a compact, resin-heavy plant. Figures are grower and breeder reported.

About
Bio Diesel is what happens when you cross Sour Diesel with a heavy indica and let the indica win.
Denver Relief Farms crossed Sour Diesel with Sensi Star, and it took a 2009 Colorado harvest cup. It keeps the fuel nose but adds a peppery, sedating body that a straight Sour Diesel does not have.
What to Expect
Bio Diesel is balanced on paper and heavier in practice. Leafly's breakdown leads with euphoric at 52 percent, then relaxed and happy at 51, from a solid sample, with the relevance data pushing deep relaxation well up the list. The Sour Diesel head fades into a Sensi Star body.
Dry mouth is the main note near 26 percent, with dizziness and paranoia both low. It is an afternoon strain that does not stay productive.
Flavor and Aroma
Bio Diesel is a pungent, dank diesel smell with a sharp peppery, spicy edge and a woody, earthy base. It is fuel-forward with very little sweetness. The flavor is earthy and woody with the diesel carrying all the way through.
Terpenes Explained
Bio Diesel has a measured panel and Caryophyllene is unusually dominant, above one percent, roughly three times the Humulene behind it. That is a distinctly peppery reading rather than a fruity or citrus one.
The diesel note itself, though, is not on the panel at all; it comes from sulfur compounds present in tiny amounts that a standard test does not measure. Smell for the fuel over the pepper before buying.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Bio Diesel THC is reported around 18 to 22 percent, a strong range, and the single lab sample in our data is corrupted by a decimal error. CBD is negligible. The menu range is consistent across sources.
Bio Diesel tests strong and leans sedating, so keep it for a stretch of the day you do not need to be sharp for.
