Cactus is marketed as a strain that stings, and the name is the warning.

Bred by Jordan of the Islands from Afghani and Northern Lights, it took a High Times Cannabis Cup in 2012 on the strength of a fast, tingly, full-body hit. Our data files it as a night-time hybrid, and the effect profile is calmer than the packaging suggests.

The reputation is hard and fast; the reviewer data tells a gentler story. Leafly's breakdown leads with relaxed at 64 percent, then happy at 52, euphoric at 45 and uplifted at 38, with sleepy close behind, from a moderate number of reviews. The early tingle is real, but where it settles is on the couch.
