Origin
Cannalope Haze is a DNA Genetics strain, a cross of Haze Brothers and an unnamed Mexican landrace sativa. That account is consistent across our sources. It is close to a pure sativa, with only a small amount of indica influence, and the Mexican landrace side is where the melon sweetness and the fast finish are usually credited. It has a handful of descendants of its own, and its main legacy is showing that a haze could be made easy to grow.

The difficulty to grow Cannalope Haze is known for being average. For growers cultivating indoors, expect average height with a 500-600g/m yield with in about 8 wk. Outdoors, harvest around October.
Cultivation Notes
Cannalope Haze is an easy grow, which is its whole selling point against other hazes. It stays compact and low-maintenance, finishes fast at about eight to ten weeks, and produces a heavy coat of resin. Reported indoor yield is around 16 to 20 ounces per square meter, more with the 500 to 600 grams per square meter some breeders claim. It suits indoor or warm-climate outdoor setups. About
Cannalope Haze is a haze that skips the hard parts.
It is a DNA Genetics cross of Haze Brothers and a Mexican landrace, and it was built to keep the bright cerebral high of a classic haze while dropping the twelve-week flowering time and the towering plant. The result is an energetic, melon-scented sativa that finishes in about eight weeks and behaves like a modern hybrid in the grow room.
What to Expect
Cannalope Haze is a clean, forward daytime lift. Leafly's breakdown leads with uplifted at 52 percent and happy at 51, then euphoric, creative and energetic clustered in the high thirties. It activates the mind with a light body buzz underneath, and it runs a while. It suits a creative session, a productive morning, being social.
One thing stands out in the reports. Dry mouth is described as severe, well beyond what the 22 percent figure suggests, so keep water nearby. A briefly paranoid or dizzy note shows up for a few at larger doses. It is a poor pick for the evening or for a heavy body effect.
Flavor and Aroma
Cannalope Haze is sweet melon and cantaloupe with a tropical, floral edge and the classic sharp haze note underneath. The melon is the recognizable part and it is unusual for a haze. The flavor carries the melon and a light citrus through the exhale.
Terpenes Explained
There is no lab terpene panel for Cannalope Haze in our data, only the names that recur across sources: Myrcene, Terpinolene, Caryophyllene and Limonene. Without amounts this is a rough guide to the smell, not a comparable profile.
Terpinolene is the one usually behind sharp, fresh haze aromas, but the sweet melon that makes this strain distinctive comes from minor compounds a standard panel does not measure. Trust the jar over the list.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Cannalope Haze THC is quoted as high as 28 percent by some sources, but our records center lower, with the lab-measured sample near 16 and most reliable readings in the high teens to low twenties. CBD is a trace. Read it as a moderate-to-strong sativa rather than a heavy hitter.
Treat the upper figures as marketing and buy on a current test.
