Hybrid

Origin

Cherry Diesel is Turbo Diesel crossed with a Cherry strain, from MTG Seeds, though sources split on whether the cherry parent is Cherry OG or a strain simply called Cherry. Turbo Diesel supplies the fuel and the structure; the cherry side the color, the tart sweetness and a softer edge. It is the gentlest way into the Diesel family for someone put off by the straight version.

About

Cherry Diesel is the Diesel family's answer to people who find straight fuel too harsh.

MTG Seeds crossed a Cherry strain with Turbo Diesel, keeping the diesel bite but wrapping it in tart cherry and a vibrant color. It is a balanced hybrid that leans relaxed despite its energetic reputation.

What to Expect

Cherry Diesel is calmer than the Diesel name implies. Leafly's breakdown leads with relaxed at 57 percent and happy at 56, then euphoric at 52, from a solid sample, with the relevance data pushing deep relaxation well up. The energetic side is real but short.

Dry mouth is the main note near 20 percent, with anxiety and paranoia both low. It is an evening strain more than a wake-and-bake.

Flavor and Aroma

Cherry Diesel is sweet, tart cherry over a diesel and earthy base, with a broader tree-fruit and berry character. The cherry and the fuel sit alongside each other rather than one covering the other. The flavor keeps both through the exhale.

Terpenes Explained

Cherry Diesel has a measured panel and Terpinolene leads it, though the reading varies widely between samples, from 0.14 to 0.67 percent. That is an unusual lead for a Diesel-family strain, which more often runs on Caryophyllene.

The cherry note and the diesel note both sit largely in compounds a standard panel does not report. Smell for the cherry and the fuel both present, since a batch that is all diesel has lost half the appeal.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Cherry Diesel THC is reported around 15 to 27 percent, with the lab sample near 18, so most batches land solidly strong rather than at the top. CBD is negligible. The wide range means a given batch could sit well below the high figure.

Cherry Diesel most often tests in the high teens to low twenties, so take the 27 percent claims as the exception, not the rule.
