Chocolate Diesel is one of the few strains carrying real Chocolate Thai landrace genetics.
It crosses Sour Diesel with Chocolate Thai, a strain descended from a Southeast Asian landrace, and the result is a genuinely unusual aroma: diesel and cocoa at once. For people who chase flavor and heritage over raw potency, that combination is the argument for it.
What to Expect
Chocolate Diesel is an up, cerebral strain. Leafly's breakdown leads with energetic at 64 percent, then euphoric at 62, happy at 60, uplifted at 54 and creative at 50, from a solid number of reviews, and sources describe a fast, clear-headed high with little body weight. It suits a morning, creative work, getting out the door.
Dry mouth is the main complaint at 22 percent, with an anxious note for about one in ten and dry eyes or dizziness less often. The speed of onset can catch people out, so pace the first dose.
Flavor and Aroma
Chocolate Diesel is the rare strain that smells like both halves of its name. The nose is pungent diesel and earthy pine with a real cocoa depth underneath, more dark chocolate than sweet.
