Cinex is not a famous name, and the effect data suggests it should be better known.

It is a cross of Cinderella 99 and Vortex, grown by CannaMan Farms in Washington, and among the strains in our set its profile is one of the most sharply energetic and creative. It is a working sativa that punches above its obscurity.

Cinex is a clean, directed daytime lift. Leafly's breakdown clusters happy, energetic and uplifted around 50 percent, with focused and creative just behind, so the effect reads as productive concentration rather than a scattered rush. Reviewers reach for it for art, writing and getting things done.

An anxious edge shows up more here than with most strains, reported by a small but consistent share, and dry mouth is common at 19 percent with a headache for some. It is a poor fit for the evening or a body-heavy effect, and a weak choice for anyone who finds a racy sativa uncomfortable.

Cinex is sweet citrus and lemon over a skunky, earthy base, with a sour edge that comes forward as the buds break. It is a bright, tangy smell with real funk underneath. The flavor is cleaner, lemon and a light skunk through the exhale.

Cinex has a full measured panel, led by Caryophyllene, with Limonene and Humulene behind and smaller amounts of Pinene and Myrcene. Caryophyllene leading fits the peppery, skunky edge; Limonene fits the citrus.

The panel captures the smell reasonably well. It is not a guide to the high, and the sharp focus-and-energy quality Cinex is known for is not something the numbers predict. Read them to compare one batch to another.

Cinex THC runs from about 15 to 26 percent in our records, with the lab-measured sample near 17 and older sources claiming as high as 25. CBD is a trace. Read it as a moderate-to-strong sativa; the higher figures are not well supported.

The energy and clarity people describe come from the strain, not from an unusual number. A mid-range batch delivers the focus without as much of the racy edge.
