It has only ever circulated as a clone, so there is no seed line and no single authoritative version. It has one descendant on file. Death Star is a clone-only diesel indica, better than its Star Wars name.
Team Death Star bred it in Ohio around 2001 from Sensi Star and Sour Diesel, and it has stayed a clone ever since. The nose is fuel and skunk with an earthy hash note; the onset creeps. Quality depends entirely on the cut.

What to Expect
Death Star comes on slowly and then settles heavy. Leafly's reviewers describe calm and deep relaxation as the core of it, with a mild euphoric lift, and sources note the effect creeps up rather than hitting. The delay catches people out.
The negative reviewers flag most is the sedation itself, which several list as a downside rather than the appeal. Sources warn newcomers off a big dose. Dryness barely registers, so smoke a small amount first.
Flavor and Aroma
Death Star smells pungent and sweet with skunk and diesel over earth. The flavor is earthy fuel with a dank, hash-like depth and a surprising sweetness. It tastes like its Sour Diesel side.
