Ghost Train Haze is a cross of Neville's Wreck and Ghost OG, bred by Rare Dankness in Colorado. That parentage is consistent across our sources. Neville's Wreck contributes the driving, near-frantic haze energy; Ghost OG a little structure and body. It has a small set of descendants, and its lasting legacy is as a benchmark for how intense a sativa can get.

Ghost Train Haze was once marketed as the strongest strain on earth. That claim is dated. The reason to be careful with it is not.
Bred by Rare Dankness from Neville's Wreck and Ghost OG, it won a US Sativa Cannabis Cup in 2014 and built its name on sheer intensity. What the reports actually describe is a fast, racy, almost psychedelic head high that people prone to anxiety are repeatedly warned about.
What to Expect
Ghost Train Haze comes on hard and stays in the head. Leafly's breakdown puts happy at 54 percent, uplifted at 50 and euphoric at 47, with energetic and creative behind, and several accounts compare the effect to a mild psychedelic. It runs long.
The intensity has a cost. An anxious edge is reported by about 9 percent, higher than most strains show, with dizziness and a paranoid note close behind. This is not a first-timer's strain and not one to meet with a full dose. Skip it for the evening, for a calm body effect, or if a racy sativa tends to tip you into anxiety.
