Grape Pie

Hybrid

Origin

Grape Pie is Grape Stomper crossed with Cherry Pie, bred by Cannarado Genetics. Grape Stomper is where the grape aroma comes from; Cherry Pie brings the sweet, dark-fruit depth and much of the body. It has seven descendants on file. The grape is a smell more than a taste here, which is worth knowing before you buy it for the flavor.

About

Grape Pie smells of grape but tastes mostly of herbs and nuts.

It crosses Grape Stomper with Cherry Pie, and the aroma is genuine grape juice over earthy herb. The flavor data on file, though, is herbal and nutty with a spicy exhale. The name is about the smell.

The name is the smell.

What to Expect

Grape Pie opens with a quick heady euphoria and then a grounded, aware body calm. Leafly's reviewers lead with happy at 66 percent of a solid sample, with relaxed at 55 and an uplifted, euphoric streak, and sources say it keeps you on the couch without putting you to sleep. It is a night strain.

Dry mouth is the dominant complaint here, flagged far more than anything else, with an anxious note behind it at 22 percent. Sources warn a bigger dose tips newer smokers into anxiety and dizziness. Start slow.

Flavor and Aroma

Grape Pie's aroma is heavy grape juice over an earthy, herbal base with sugar and spice lingering after. The flavor is where it turns: herbal and nutty with a slightly spicy exhale, less pie than the name promises. The grape lives in the nose.

Terpenes Explained

Grape Pie's measured panel is dominated by Limonene, which swings from about seven tenths of a percent to nearly one and a fifth between samples, with Pinene a distant second.

A citrus-heavy panel like that is not what the grape name suggests, and the swing means one jar can smell noticeably sharper than the next. A batch that leads with grape over the herb and citrus is closest to the name.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Grape Pie THC is reported from about 18 to 22 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data near 17, so it tests a little under the range. Most sources put the average near 18. CBD is a trace.

Grape Pie tests in the high teens, so plan for a moderate-to-strong indica bought on the grape smell.
