Hash Plant

Hybrid

Origin

Hash Plant's parents are not settled. It is generally given as a Hash Plant line crossed with Northern Lights, though one account names Afghani in place of Northern Lights, and it circulates mostly as cuts. It has three descendants on file. It was a foundational parent for Sensi Seeds, which is the clearest thing to say about a plant with this much uncertainty around it.

Crop King Seeds's record agrees with 3 other breeders: G13 Labs, Mighty Mite Seed Company, Sensi Seeds.

3 lineage claim sets recorded. The one shown is attributed to Crop King Seeds; the others are in the tabs above, each with its own source.

About

Hash Plant is a 1980s Dutch indica with an unsettled family tree.

It came out of Holland and reached the Northwest US as a Sensi Seeds building block, but sources disagree on the parents. It crosses a Hash Plant line with Northern Lights, though one account names Afghani instead. The high lifts happy first, then flattens into sleep.

It circulates as cuts.

What to Expect

Hash Plant lifts happy and euphoric first and then flattens into a heavy sleep. Leafly's reviewers lead with relaxed at 61 percent of a solid sample, with sleepiness at 47 and a hunger bump, and the deeper data shows the sedation taking over quickly. The lift is brief.

At 39 percent, dry mouth is well out in front here, with dry eyes at 23 and a dizzy note behind. Sources warn it turns heavily sedating past a moderate dose, so keep a pillow close. This is a night strain.

Flavor and Aroma

Hash Plant smells sweet and herbal with a spicy edge and a clear hashish note. The flavor is a surprise: earthy pine with a super-sweet, candy-like quality. The candy is the thing people remember.

Terpenes Explained

Hash Plant's measured panel leads with Myrcene, from about six tenths of a percent to over four fifths, with Limonene and Caryophyllene close behind and Humulene notable.

The candy note that people describe is not on the panel; it sits in lighter aromatic compounds a standard test skips, and it is the first thing a stale jar loses. A batch that still smells genuinely sweet over the hash is the fresher one.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Hash Plant THC is reported from about 13 to 19 percent, with no clean lab sample in our data. It is moderate by modern standards. There is essentially no CBD.

Hash Plant tests moderate but plays heavily sedating, so treat it as a strong sleep strain and keep it for the evening.
