Jack Flash is a Jack Herer backcross blended with Super Skunk and Haze, made in the Netherlands to give Jack Herer the growing traits of a Skunk. Jack Herer supplies the cerebral, psychedelic front end; the Skunk and Haze sides supply the yield and the body. It has no descendants on file. The 1998 Cup win is what put it on the map, and the fast up-to-down arc is what kept it there.

Jack Flash is named for how fast it turns from up to sedated.
It crosses Jack Herer with Super Skunk and Haze, and won the 1998 Dutch High Life Cup. The high starts buzzy and psychedelic, then flips to calm and heavy inside about an hour. That flip is the whole point.
The name is the arc.

Jack Flash opens buzzy and euphoric with a mildly psychedelic edge, then flips inside about an hour to a calm, sedated body. Leafly's reviewers lead with happy at 59 percent of a solid sample, with uplifted and euphoric readings behind and energetic at 44. The first act is social and creative; the second is the couch.
Negatives are light: dry mouth at 22 percent, dry eyes at 14, and the sharper readings near 4. The fast turn from energetic to sedated is the thing to plan around, not a side effect. It is an evening strain.
