Origin

Lavender is a Soma Seeds three-way, Super Skunk with Big Skunk Korean and Afghani Hawaiian, sold as Soma #10. The Afghani and Korean skunk lines carry the spice and the heavy body; the floral note is Lavender's own signature. It has twelve descendants on file. It is also called Lavender Kush, and the dark purple leaves are pigment, unrelated to the effect.

420 Genetics's record agrees with 8 other breeders: CBD Seeds, Dutch Quality Seeds, Expert Seeds, Lineage Genetics, New420Guy Seeds, Plantamaster Seeds and 2 more.

2 lineage claim sets recorded. The one shown is attributed to 420 Genetics; the others are in the tabs above, each with its own source.

About

Lavender genuinely tastes of the flower it is named for.

It goes by Soma #10 and is a Soma Seeds cross of Super Skunk with Big Skunk Korean and Afghani Hawaiian. The high lifts euphoric and cerebral first, then a swirling body stone takes over. The purple leaves are cosmetic.

The lavender taste is real.

What to Expect

Lavender opens with a smooth, spicy euphoria and a cerebral lift, then a swirling body stone that turns lazy. Leafly's reviewers and its closest set both put relaxed and happy at the top, with a dreamy quality that the weighted data ranks near the front. The head phase is short.

The physical notes run high here for the THC: dry eyes especially, well above the batch norm, with dizziness and a sedated pull close behind. Inexperienced smokers often fall asleep. Keep the first dose small.

Flavor and Aroma

Lavender smells of sweet floral lavender with a spicy, herbal, woody base. The flavor keeps the lavender, spiced like an Afghani hash. It is one of the very few strains that actually tastes of its name.

Terpenes Explained

Lavender's measured panel is Myrcene-dominant, reading near a full percent in every sample, with Caryophyllene behind and Limonene third.

That much Myrcene is one of the highest readings on record for the compound. The genuine lavender note, though, sits in lighter floral compounds a standard panel does not report. A jar that smells of floral lavender over the spice is the well-grown one.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Lavender THC is reported from about 12 to 20 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data near 16 and one source's 27 percent figure well outside the rest. It is moderate by modern standards. CBD is a trace.

Lavender tests in the mid teens, so buy it for the genuine lavender flavor rather than a heavy hit.
