Origin

Pink Lemonade is Purple Kush crossed with Lemon Skunk and a third strain the breeder has not named. Purple Kush is the source of the color and Lemon Skunk of the citrus; the missing parent is presumably where the sativa-like energy comes from. It has no descendants on file. The energetic effect is the reason to try it, not the indica billing.

About

Pink Lemonade is billed as an indica and behaves like a work sativa.

It is Purple Kush crossed with Lemon Skunk and an unnamed third strain, so the pedigree is only half known. The effect is a fast, energetic, creative mood lift that does not last long. It is a daytime strain despite the label.

It gets things done.

What to Expect

Pink Lemonade comes on fast, with a head-first rush of energy and creativity within a minute or two of tasting it. Leafly's reviewers lead with happy at 56 percent of a solid sample, with an uplifted, energetic, creative streak all through the mid forties and relaxed a step behind. Sources agree it is short-lived and not a sedative.

Dry mouth is the main reviewer negative at 15 percent, but the weighted data flags an anxious quality higher, near where creative daytime strains often sit. Keep the first dose small if you are prone to it.

Flavor and Aroma

Pink Lemonade smells of lemon and sour citrus with a sweet, herbal, earthy base. The flavor is lemon and grapefruit, tart and summery. The name is accurate for once, at least on the tongue.

Terpenes Explained

Pink Lemonade's measured panel is led by Myrcene, near 0.45 percent, with Caryophyllene close behind and a noticeable amount of Pinene.

The Pinene reading is high enough to add a fresh, sharp edge to the lemon. Limonene, which would usually carry citrus, is actually fairly low here, so the tartness is doing more of that work. A jar with a bright, genuinely sour lemon smell is the fresher one.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Pink Lemonade THC is reported from about 13 to 23 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data near 20. It varies enough with the grow that sources say to ask before buying. CBD is a trace.

Pink Lemonade tests anywhere from the mid teens to the low twenties, so the number on the jar matters more than the strain average.
