Origin
Rockstar Kush is generally given as Rockstar crossed with Bubba Kush, though our lineage data instead lists Bubba Kush and Harmony. Both versions lean heavily on Bubba Kush, which is where the extra weight and sedation over plain Rockstar come from. It has no descendants on file. It is also called Rockstar OG by some patients, which adds to the confusion among the Rockstar strains.

About
Rockstar Kush is the heavy, high-testing version of Rockstar.
Sources give it as Rockstar crossed with Bubba Kush, though our lineage data lists Bubba Kush and Harmony instead. Either way it tests much higher than plain Rockstar, into the mid twenties. The effect is a deep, sleepy, munchie-heavy body high.
The potent sibling.
What to Expect
Rockstar Kush is a deep body relaxation that turns sleepy, with a strong appetite bump. Leafly's reviewers lead with relaxed at 85 percent of a solid sample, one of the highest in this run, with happiness at 56 and sleepiness and hunger both near 47. The weighted data ranks the deep relaxation near the ceiling.
The negatives are mild for the potency: dry mouth around 24 percent, dry eyes at 11, and a small headache reading. A moderate dose is plenty. This is a strain for the end of the night.
Flavor and Aroma
Rockstar Kush smells of blueberry over a pungent, skunky, spicy earthiness. The flavor keeps the blueberry and grape with a piney, woody base. It is a fruitier profile than plain Rockstar.
Terpenes Explained
Rockstar Kush has no measured terpene data, with only Humulene, Camphene and Caryophyllene named.
Nothing is quantified, so the blueberry-grape note is a nose call. Fruit notes like that usually come from lighter aromatic compounds a panel does not report. A jar with a real blueberry smell over the skunk is the fresher one.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Rockstar Kush THC is reported from about 22 to 25 percent, strong, with no clean lab sample in our data. That is well above plain Rockstar's mid-teens number, which is the main reason to tell the two apart. CBD is a trace.
Rockstar Kush tests in the low-to-mid twenties, noticeably stronger than the Rockstar it is named after.
