Sour Tsunami was one of the first strains bred for CBD, and it now has company.
Growers crossed Sour Diesel and NYC Diesel with an obscure California variety called Ferrari, selecting for CBD over THC across generations. It runs CBD-dominant, with THC in the low single digits. The diesel flavor stayed through all of it.
It was a landmark strain.
What to Expect
Sour Tsunami is mild and clear-headed. Leafly's reviewers lead with relaxed at 67 percent of a solid sample, with happy at 39 and focused at 31, and the low THC keeps the intoxication light throughout. There is a gentle lift, not a strong one.
There is very little to flag here. Dry mouth turns up for 13 percent of reviewers and dry eyes for 6, which is what a strain this low in THC produces. Not for anyone wanting a strong high.
