Super Silver Haze is a Green House Seeds strain, credited to the breeder Arjan, from a cross of Haze, Northern Lights and Skunk. That three-way account is consistent across sources. It won High Times Cannabis Cups in 1997, 1998 and 1999, and its influence runs through a long line of later haze and Silver strains, including one of the parents of Super Lemon Haze.

Super Silver Haze won three consecutive High Times Cannabis Cups in the late 1990s and is often credited with proving that a long-flowering haze could be grown commercially at all. Green House Seeds and the breeder Arjan built it from Haze, Northern Lights and Skunk.
A strain from that far back can be a museum piece or a strain that still earns its shelf space. This one still earns it.
What to Expect
Super Silver Haze is a fast, heady, long-lasting lift. Across roughly 4,600 Leafly reviews, happy and uplifted lead at 58 and 57 percent, euphoric at 53, energetic at 48 and creative at 41. Reviewers describe a high that runs long and stays in the head. It is a morning strain with real stamina.
It suits a working or creative session that wants to keep going, being up and social, a day with things to get done. It is a poor fit for the evening, and the long, busy head high can tip into overload, so paranoia and a racy edge each land near 8 percent, more at larger doses. Headache is a more common complaint here than with most strains. Keep the first dose modest and give it room to run.
Flavor and Aroma
The smell is skunk and sour citrus, sharp and a little sweet, over an earthy, herbal base. It is loud, a classic haze. The flavor follows, lemon and skunk through the exhale with a spicy edge.
Terpenes Explained
The measured panel is modest, led by Caryophyllene and Myrcene, both around a fifth of a percent, with Limonene and a variable amount of Pinene behind. Nothing spikes.
