Genetics & Origin

Origin

Triangle Kush is widely held to be a Florida cut of OG Kush, though no formal cross is documented. The name honors the three centers of Florida cannabis: Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami. It has twenty descendants on file, which makes it a genuine building block rather than a footnote. Its identity is that Florida OG lineage, passed hand to hand as a clone.

The difficulty to grow Triangle Kush is known for being average. For growers cultivating indoors, expect average height with a moderate yield with in about 8–10 wk. Outdoors, harvest around October.

Cultivation Notes

Triangle Kush takes 10 to 12 weeks to flower and stretches hard in the first three weeks, so it needs headroom. It suits sea-of-green or screen-of-green setups and prefers a warm, dryish climate. Outdoor harvest is October. Figures are grower and breeder reported.

About

Triangle Kush smells of lemon and pine but the panel shows neither.

It is a Florida descendant of OG Kush, named as a tribute to the state's three cannabis capitals. The aroma is lemon and fuel and pine, yet the measured terpenes are led by peppery Caryophyllene. THC runs around 20 percent.

Lemon nose, pepper panel.

What to Expect

Triangle Kush is a calm, focused body high with a creative edge that reviewers rate highly. The reported data leans on creative and happy and euphoric up top, with a focused calm underneath; the weighted data puts calm near the ceiling. It is a night strain that does not flatten you.

The negatives are dry mouth and dizziness, both moderate in the weighted data, with dry eyes lower. THC around 20 percent with a corrupt lab sample means the jar number is the one to read; dose to that.

Flavor and Aroma

Triangle Kush smells of sharp lemon and diesel fuel, with pine underneath, a classic OG nose. The flavor turns more earthy and sour with a diesel edge. The citrus and pine come through louder in the jar than on the tongue.

Terpenes Explained

Triangle Kush's measured panel is led by Caryophyllene, from about 0.15 to 0.37 percent, with Myrcene and Limonene next and Pinene very low.

That is the puzzle: the smell is lemon and pine and fuel, but Caryophyllene is a peppery compound, Limonene is only moderate and there is almost no Pinene. The lemon and pine are coming from lighter aromatic compounds this panel does not capture. A jar that genuinely smells of sharp citrus and pine, not just pepper, is the well-grown one.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Triangle Kush THC is usually cited around 20 percent, with the full range running from the low teens to the mid twenties and the lab sample in our data reading low at about 15. CBD can reach one percent. It is a strong but not extreme indica.

Triangle Kush tests around 20 percent on average, so treat it as solidly strong and let the jar's number fine-tune the dose.
