Origin
UK Cheese is a phenotype of Skunk #1, chosen by the Exodus collective in Britain in the early 1990s. It is clone-only, so UK Cheese means a specific cut rather than a seed line; a seed labeled Cheese is a different bet. It has one descendant on file. It is also sold as Exodus Cheese, the name of the group that found it.
2 lineage claim sets recorded. The one shown is attributed to UKSeedCo; the others are in the tabs above, each with its own source.

About
UK Cheese smells intensely of cheese and the panel shows citrus.
It is a phenotype of Skunk #1, selected by the Exodus collective in early-1990s Britain and passed along only as a clone. The cheese smell is so defining it named a whole family. THC tests in the high teens to low twenties.
The cheese, from citrus.
What to Expect
UK Cheese is a happy, relaxed high with an uplifted, euphoric front end and a hungry, heavy back end. The weighted data and a small set of community votes agree on that shape, ranking happy and deep relaxation at the top. It is an evening strain that starts brighter than it finishes.
The logged negatives are an anxious edge and sedation, with dry mouth low. There is no percentage breakdown, so treat the low-twenties THC as the guide and dose to the jar.
Flavor and Aroma
UK Cheese smells of sharp, musty cheese over a sweet skunk, with a berry note some people catch. The flavor keeps the cheese and the skunk with a touch of sweetness. It is the strain that defined what cheese means in cannabis.
Terpenes Explained
UK Cheese's measured panel is led by Limonene, near 0.68 percent, with Myrcene and Linalool both substantial behind it.
That is the riddle: Limonene is a citrus compound and Linalool is floral, but nothing on the panel smells like cheese. The cheese comes from volatile sulfur compounds that build up during the cure, which a terpene test does not measure. A jar with a genuinely pungent, musty cheese reek is the real thing.
Cannabinoids and Potency
UK Cheese THC is reported from about 20 to 23 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data lower at about 16. It runs moderate to strong. CBD and CBN both sit near one percent, a little higher than most THC strains.
UK Cheese tests in the low twenties on most menus, though our own sample came in nearer 16, so read the jar.
