Warlock

Warlock is a 1997 Cup-winning Skunk-Afghani strain, not the CBD cut our data suggests.

Magus Genetics made it by accident in the early 1990s when an Afghani male pollinated a Skunk #1 female. Every source describes a THC strain at 14 to 20 percent. Our one CBD reading is corrupt and should be ignored.

Warlock, in the form sources actually describe, is a relaxed, happy high with an uplifted, focused edge, from a moderate THC strain. Leafly's reviewers put relaxed at 62 percent of a solid sample, with happiness at 53 and a euphoric, uplifted quality behind. It leans evening but is not a knockout.

The negatives are led by dry mouth near 27 percent, with dry eyes, a paranoid note and a dizzy reading lower. If you came for a CBD strain, this is the fit question: our data cannot tell you which Warlock is in the jar, so check the label carefully. Anyone using it for a medical reason should talk to a clinician who knows their history.

Warlock smells sweet and fruity with a sour edge over woody, skunky funk. The flavor is earthy and sweet with a pine note. It is an old-school Skunk-family nose, more funk than candy.

Warlock has no measured terpene panel, with only Myrcene, Caryophyllene and Ocimene named.

None of it is quantified, so the sweet-and-skunky smell is a nose call. The skunk in particular comes from sulfur compounds that form in the cure, which a terpene test does not measure. A jar with a genuine sweet-sour funk over pine is true to the old Magus cut.

Warlock THC is reported from about 14 to 20 percent across sources, with no clean lab sample in our data. Our records also carry a CBD figure that reads as 100 percent, which is impossible and clearly a data error. Treat Warlock as the moderate THC strain every source describes.
