Wedding Cake has two competing lineage stories and they should not be blended. The most-repeated account is Cherry Pie crossed with Girl Scout Cookies. A second, also common, calls it a selected phenotype of Triangle Mints, itself usually given as Triangle Kush crossed with Animal Mints, associated with Seed Junky Genetics and sometimes labeled Triangle Mints #23.
The reason to keep both on the table is that repetition is not corroboration. The Cherry Pie account appears on more pages, but cannabis sites copy each other, so a larger count of identical retellings is the same claim amplified, not stronger evidence. Both stories trace to a small number of original sources, neither is settled, and a review that picks the more common one and calls it fact has mistaken popularity for proof. It also comes up constantly in two kinds of conversation—winding down, and intimacy. The first is well inside what the data can speak to. The second needs care. What matters most with Wedding Cake is the line between its calm being a presence and its calm being an absence.
What to Expect
Inhaled, Wedding Cake starts in the head, a quick lift that can briefly speed thoughts up before a heavier body ease settles in behind it. Across roughly 2,400 Leafly reviews, 62 percent report relaxed, 51 happy and 43 euphoric, with a smaller appetite bump at 24 percent. The negative profile is light, dry mouth at 17 percent and everything else at 7 or below.
The reported arc is a short mental acceleration into a longer physical settle, and the line that matters runs between attentive-relaxed and gone. At a modest dose most reports keep you present, good company for a conversation or a slow evening. Past that, the same strain trades attention for drift and then for an early night.
