Casey Jones comes from a Trainwreck and Thai mother crossed with a Sour Diesel father, a recipe our sources give consistently even though our records carry no formal lineage entry. The Trainwreck and Thai side supplies the racing head; the Sour Diesel the fuel and the citrus. The odd, morbid name has kept the strain memorable for two decades, and it has four descendants on file.

Casey Jones is named after a train engineer who died stopping his train.
The 1900 Mississippi crash made Jones a folk hero, and the strain borrows the name for a fast-acting, get-moving reputation. It is a sativa-heavy cross of Trainwreck, Sour Diesel and Thai genetics, and it is one of the better-documented strains in our data.

Casey Jones is a working strain.
