Critical is Mr. Nice Seeds' rework of Big Bud, generally given as a Skunk and Big Bud cross and sold as Critical Mass. It is bred for bud weight above everything else, which is why it stays in commercial catalogs. It is a separate strain from Critical Plus despite the shared name and the frequent mix-ups.

Critical is a commercial yield strain with a name bigger than its punch.
Mr. Nice Seeds built it as a renewed Big Bud, and it is often sold as Critical Mass. The high runs a light, happy head into a heavy relaxing body, but the THC is only moderate.
What to Expect
Critical leans hard toward relaxed. Leafly's breakdown leads with relaxed at 83 percent, well ahead of euphoric at 41 and happy at 33, from a solid sample. The head is brief and light; the body is where it lives.
Dry mouth and dry eyes are both low, though an anxious note turns up more in the relevance data than the raw numbers show. It is an easy evening strain at a moderate dose.
Flavor and Aroma
Critical is pungent and earthy with a sweet, woody base and a spicy, sour, piney edge. It is a plain, old-school smell rather than a fruity one. The flavor follows, earthy and spicy with a sour note.
