Origin
Jillybean is a cross of Space Queen and Orange Skunk, from TGA Subcool, though one source instead lists Romulan, Orange Skunk and Cinderella 99. The Orange Skunk side, from a grower named Jill, is where the orange and the name come from. It has one descendant on file, and the specific Orange Skunk cut is part of what makes the flavor work.

About
Jillybean is one of the few candy-named strains that tastes like the candy.
From TGA Subcool, it crosses Space Queen with an Orange Skunk selection that came from a grower named Jill. The name is a pun, and the mango-and-orange jellybean flavor sources describe is not an exaggeration.
What to Expect
Jillybean is an upbeat afternoon strain. Leafly's breakdown leads with happy at 62 percent, then uplifted at 54, euphoric at 52, energetic at 41 and creative at 37, from a large number of reviews, describing an energetic, get-off-the-couch lift with a bit of relaxation underneath. It suits a bright afternoon, being social, creative work.
Dry mouth stands out among the downsides, at 24 percent and higher in a separate reviewer set, with dry eyes and a headache note well behind. It is a poor choice for sleep.
Flavor and Aroma
Jillybean earns the pun. The smell is sweet mango, orange and tropical fruit with a light skunky base. The flavor is where it lands: a genuine orange-and-mango jellybean sweetness, tangy and candied, one of the more literal fruit strains on the menu.
Terpenes Explained
Jillybean has a measured terpene panel in our data, and it is Myrcene and Caryophyllene led, both around 0.45 to 0.5 percent, with Humulene and Linalool behind. That is an earthy, peppery profile, not a citrus one.
Which is the interesting part: the jellybean smell does not come from the terpenes a panel measures. It comes from minor aromatic compounds the standard nine miss entirely. The lab sheet will not predict the candy note, so smell the jar.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Jillybean THC is reported around 15 to 18 percent, a moderate level, and the lab-measured sample in our data came in near 10, lower still. CBD is a trace. This is not a strong strain by current standards.
Expect a mild-to-moderate high and treat this as a flavor strain first, not a potency one.
