Origin
Lifesaver is BOG Bubble crossed with JCB, both from the BOG and Subcool circles. BOG Bubble brings the sweet, resinous body; JCB, a Jack's Cleaner and Blueberry cross, brings the tart fruit and the candy flavor. It has no descendants on file. The candy-fruit flavor is the reason to pick it, since the potency is modest.

About
Lifesaver is a BOG Seeds indica with a mild number and a heavy effect.
It crosses BOG Bubble with JCB, which is itself a Jack's Cleaner and Blueberry cross. THC is mild, around 15 to 19 percent, but the sedation is not. The flavor is tart candy fruit and grape.
Mild number, heavy effect.
What to Expect
Lifesaver reads as a euphoric relaxation that turns heavily sedating. Leafly's reviewers lead with relaxed at 48 percent of a solid sample, with euphoric and happy readings both in the mid forties and a light creative streak, and the weighted data ranks the sedation and the euphoria at the top. It is a wind-down strain.
Dry mouth at 23 percent is the leading note, ahead of dry eyes at 11, but the reading to plan for is the sedation, which the deeper data puts very high. Start low, especially given the mild THC.
Flavor and Aroma
Lifesaver smells sweet and earthy with a clear berry and grape note. The flavor is a tart, candy-like fruit, close to the candy it is named for. It is a genuinely fruit-forward profile.
Terpenes Explained
Lifesaver has no measured terpene profile in our data, and only Humulene, Myrcene and Caryophyllene are named.
The tart candy-fruit flavor sits in lighter compounds a standard panel does not report. A jar with a genuine sweet-berry note over the earth is the one to want.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Lifesaver THC is reported from about 15 to 19 percent, which is mild by modern standards, with no clean lab sample in our data. The effect is much heavier than the number. CBD is a trace.
Lifesaver tests mild but plays like a strong sedative, so treat it as a heavier strain than the number suggests.
