Night Shade
Hybrid
Origin
Night Shade is a cross of two landrace lines, Kashmir and Nepali, both mountain indicas. That heritage explains the compact, resinous structure and the heavy body under the bright nose. It has no descendants on file. Its one hard credential is the 2006 High Times Cannabis Cup, first place for Best Indica.

About
Night Shade won a High Times Cup but left almost no other trace.
It took 1st Place for Best Indica at the 2006 Cannabis Cup, and it is a cross of two landraces, Kashmir and Nepali. Tested THC is high, around 25 percent. The nose is citrus and pine, and the effect is uplifting.
A Cup win, and little else.
What to Expect
Night Shade is tagged for the afternoon and reads as an uplifting, buzzy euphoria more than a sedative, despite the name. There is one source and two logged effect words behind that, so the picture is thin. What is described is a head-forward lift.
Nothing is on the negative record, which for a strain that tests around 25 percent is missing data, not a clean bill. The weighted model expects the usual dryness and a little dizziness. Start small.
Flavor and Aroma
Night Shade smells sweet and citrusy with pine and a herbal edge. The one recorded flavor is citrus. There is not enough on file to say much more than bright and clean.
Terpenes Explained
Night Shade has no measured terpene data, and Myrcene, Caryophyllene and Limonene are named without numbers.
The citrus-pine smell would usually point to Limonene and Pinene, but nothing is measured to confirm it. A jar with a genuinely bright citrus lift over the pine is the one to trust.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Night Shade THC is reported from about 21 to 26 percent, with the lab-measured sample in our data near 25. It tests genuinely high. CBD is a trace.
Night Shade tests in the mid twenties, so the Cup-winning reputation comes with a potency to match.
