Origin
Purple Jack is Purple Kush crossed with Jack Herer, from unknown breeders. The two parents pull in opposite directions, a heavy indica against a heavy sativa, which is why the balance is hard to pin down. No breeder or verifiable cross is on record, so two Purple Jacks can balance very differently.

About
Purple Jack crosses a heavy indica with a heavy sativa and lands mild.
Unknown breeders put Purple Kush and Jack Herer together, and the result tops out low, in the teens. Grape on the palate, a Jack Herer lift, a Purple Kush settle. The purple color is cosmetic and tells you nothing about the effect.
It is an easy start.
What to Expect
Purple Jack lifts first, then eases down. The Jack Herer side gives an uplifted, focused, slightly creative opening; the Purple Kush side brings a gentle body settle after. Leafly's reviewers lead with uplifted at 64 percent of a solid sample and euphoric at 61.
Dry eyes at 19 percent are close behind dry mouth at 25, and the harder side effects stay low. It is forgiving at a normal dose. Not for anyone wanting a strong hit.
Flavor and Aroma
Purple Jack smells earthy and skunky with a spicy edge. The flavor is sweeter, with a clear grape note over the earth and a sour, piney lift. The grape is real, even though the color that suggests it is just pigment.
Terpenes Explained
Purple Jack has no terpene numbers in our data, with only Terpinolene and Caryophyllene named.
The grape-and-spice character sits in lighter compounds a standard panel does not report. A jar with a genuine sweet-grape note, not just a purple tint, is the one worth having.
Cannabinoids and Potency
Purple Jack THC is low for a modern strain, testing in the mid teens by most accounts, with one outlier claim of 25 percent that the other data does not support. CBD is around one percent.
Purple Jack is genuinely mild, so it is one of the better strains to hand a nervous first-timer.
