Origin

Shiva Shanti is a Sensi Seeds Afghani line, generally given as a Kush and Afghani base crossed with Skunk #1. The Kush and Afghani side is where the hardy growth and the body come from; the Skunk adds vigor. It has no descendants on file. It is part of the Sensi Seeds Shiva family, bred as an affordable, easy indica.

About

Shiva Shanti is marketed as a strain for yoga and meditation.

It is a Sensi Seeds Afghani line, given as Kush crossed with Afghani and Skunk #1. The effect is a calm, thoughtful, uplifting relaxation for winding down. The flavor is unusual: orange and strawberry with a lavender note.

For the end of a long day.

What to Expect

Shiva Shanti reads as a calm, thoughtful, mildly uplifting relaxation rather than a heavy sedative, which fits the yoga-and-meditation pitch. The reviewer sample is thin. The weighted data does flag an anxious and a scared quality worth noting.

Dry mouth is the only common physical negative, and it is low. With one source and an 85 percent indica billing, a small first dose is the sensible start.

Flavor and Aroma

Shiva Shanti smells pungent and skunky with a spicy, dank earthiness. The flavor is a surprise for such a plain aroma: orange and strawberry with a peppery, lavender note. The taste is far more interesting than the smell.

Terpenes Explained

Shiva Shanti has no measured terpene data, with only Humulene, Camphene and Caryophyllene named.

Nothing is quantified, so the fruit-and-lavender flavor is a nose call. The lavender note in particular points to a floral compound most panels do not print. A jar with a genuine bright fruit note over the skunk is the closest checkpoint.

Cannabinoids and Potency

Shiva Shanti THC is reported from about 15 to 20 percent, moderate, with no clean lab sample in our data. There is a small CBD reading and a CBC reading, both under one percent. It reads as a mild-to-moderate indica.

Shiva Shanti tests in the high teens, so it suits a low-key wind-down rather than a heavy hit.
