Tangerine is Ch9 Female Seeds' orange strain, backcrossed four times to lock the smell.
The aroma is often described as an orange grove just after rain. The high runs energetic and uplifting first, then eases into a body relaxation. Not much else about the strain is documented.
The smell is the point.
What to Expect
Tangerine opens bright and closes soft. The first stretch is energetic and happy; Leafly's reviewers then rate relaxed at 49 percent of a solid sample, behind happy at 63, so the tail is a body settle rather than a crash. Euphoric sits at 42.
Paranoia and anxiety each turn up around 7 percent, a little high for how upbeat the strain is, while dry mouth stays moderate at 23 and dry eyes low at 8. Not a strong evening sedative.
Flavor and Aroma
Tangerine smells of sweet orange with mango and pineapple behind it, close to fresh-peeled citrus. The flavor is a zesty sweet-sour orange with a tropical aftertaste. It is one of the more convincing orange strains.
