Origin

White OG is The White crossed with SFV OG Kush, bred by Karma Genetics. The White is a near-odorless, frost-heavy strain of murky origin; SFV OG supplies the lemon, the Kush weight and most of the character. Its 2010 and 2014 Cup wins are a large part of why the name still sells. It has three descendants on file, and Karma's line is the documented one.

About

White OG won two Cannabis Cups and can still be too much for a veteran.

Karma Genetics crossed The White with SFV OG Kush, taking overall prizes in 2010 and 2014. The White brings the frost; SFV OG brings the lemon and the weight. The high goes euphoric first, then flattens.

It hits hard.

What to Expect

White OG opens euphoric and ends asleep. Leafly's reviewers rate euphoric at 65 percent of a solid sample, nearly level with relaxed at 66, and sleepy follows at 37, so the arc runs from a strong head rush into a pinning body high. Sources warn it can overwhelm experienced smokers.

Dizziness and headache each turn up more here than the raw numbers show, from the strength rather than the strain, while dry mouth stays moderate at 16. Not a strain to meet at a full dose.

Flavor and Aroma

White OG is a lemon-and-earth smell with a Kush spice and a hashy note. The flavor is earthier and spicier than the nose, with the citrus dropping back. The White parent adds almost no smell of its own, just frost.

Terpenes Explained

White OG's measured panel leads with Limonene, from about 0.52 to 0.83 percent, with Myrcene nearly level near 0.55 and Caryophyllene and Linalool behind.

The lemon in the panel matches the nose, but The White side of the cross contributes trichomes rather than aroma, so a frosty White OG can still smell muted. Buy on the citrus, not the sugar coating.

Cannabinoids and Potency

White OG THC is reported from about 19 to 28 percent, with the lab-measured sample near 23, so it tests reliably in the low-to-mid twenties. CBD is a trace.

White OG's frost does not tell you its strength, so treat a 23-percent number as real and size the dose down.
