The Eudesma-3 terpene is a sesquiterpenoid and found in the bark of mangolia trees and from medical herbs such as Ginkgo Biloba, Cryptomeria Japonica, Atractylodes Lancea, Pterocarpus Santalinus and Nardostachys Jatamansi.

This terpene has three different isomers: alpha, beta and gamma which exhibit mildly sweet and primarily woody smells. Its flavor more distinctly is considered as yuzu like. The most classically known scent of Eudesma-3 is like Yuzu.
