Amsterdam Cafes now legalized in California by the Assembly

Food, Beverages and Weed available together in California Cafes?

As a potentially crippling recession looms, the California Assembly just greased the wheels to invite new lifeblood into the economy: Amsterdam-style cannabis cafes!

While there is still some distance to go before the government signs this into law the bill passed the state assembly with bi-partisan support.

State Assemblyman Matt Haney, noted that current regulations are "outdated and nonsensical," and as a result, a lot of legal cannabis shops are losing out on revenue. He also noted, "there is a huge demand for this. This idea came from shop owners. They wanted to diversify their businesses."

Next stop for this bill is the State Senate. Stay tuned!
